One Ingredient, Infinite Possibilities
A good cup of tea is the result of three elements: the heavens, the earth and the people.
The heavens
Good tea is dependant on the weather. If the climate is right during the growing season and production time, the result will be fine quality tea.
The earth
As the tea grows, it absorbs the nutrients of the earth and soil it is grown in. The type and quality of the soil as well as the environment is critical to creating fine quality tea.
The people
Finally, we have the people. This is the tea producer, whose knowledge, skill and expertise is required to tease out all the flavours and complex characteristics inherent within the tea leaves; this is the tea brewer, whose technique is required to extract the most out of the finished leaves; and this is the tea drinker, the one who appreciates the depth, flavour and aroma of the tea and all the hard work and dedication that goes into making a good cup of tea.
These are the elements that make up the "Tea Angle" and is the underlying philosophy behind all that we do. Real tea is all about one plant – camellia sinensis. It is more than just dried leaves and funky flavours. It doesn't require the addition of essential oils or any artificial flavours or additives. Exploring what nature alone has already provided would require a lifetime of dedication. And this is a journey that we wish you would join us in embarking on.
One ingredient, infinite possibilities. Tea in its purest form, sourced direct from the plantation.
