White Peony 2020
White Tea
Regular price $25.00 AUD
SUMMARY
Type: White Tea
Origin: Fuding, Fujian Province, China
Net Wt. 30g
White tea is the least processed of all the tea types and as a result, it’s the lightest type of tea. This aged White Peony tea is a spring tea that has a delicate aroma of fresh hay with a sweet taste and smooth texture. Although not quite as aromatic as a Silver Needle white tea, it has greater depth of flavour and is perfect for when you’re after something light and refreshing.
TASTING NOTES
A delicate floral aroma with a subtle taste of dried grass and hay, finishing with a fresh, pleasantly sweet aftertaste with no astringency. Despite its subtle flavour, it has a great mouth-fill with a sweet, slightly floral aftertaste.

STORAGE
Proper tea storage is super important. Improper storage leads to flat, flavourless and potentially weird tasting tea. So as a rule of thumb, keep your tea leaves in an airtight container (the less air inside the better) and away from heat, light, moisture and strong odours.
